MINUTES OF THE COMMON COUNCIL

BRAZIL, INDIANA

FOR November 30, 2022

A meeting of the Common Council was held on NOVEMBER 30, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. in Brazil City Hall.  The meeting was called to order by Mayor Brian Wyndham.       

ROLL CALL: Mayor Brian Wyndham and Council Members Shane Litz, Karen Boes, Angie Modesitt, and Steve Bell.  Brad Deal was absent. 

The Pledge to the American Flag was led by Mayor Brian Wyndham.

OTHERS PRESENT: Clerk-Treasurer Karen McQueen and City Attorney Traci Orman.

PRAYER: The Prayer was led by Karen Boes

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:   None.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS: None.  

OLD BUSINESS:  None.

NEW BUSINESS:

Council was presented with information regarding additional appropriations.  Discussion was had concerning what monies needed to be appropriated and where said funds are to be transferred from.  Next step is for Clerk-Treasurer to publish notice 10 days prior to the next meeting so that we can hold a public hearing.  Summary of additional appropriations discussed:

It was also determined that the next council meeting will be moved from the original date of December 14, 2022 to December 21, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. to accommodate for any publications which need to be done prior to the meeting.

ADJOURNMENT: Steve Bell made a motion to adjourn meeting, seconded by Karen Boes.  Motion passed 4-0. Meeting adjourned @ 5:23 p.m.
