MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR SEPTEMBER 28, 2015
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on September 28, 2015 at 10:05 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wyndham .
ROLL CALL: Mayor Wyndham, Ruthann Jeffries and Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett
OTHERS PRESENT: Frank Phillips, Brazil Times
The purpose of this meeting is to approve streets for paving. The Council has already approved the use of Wheel Tax Money to pave the following streets:
Maple Street -$13,525.00
Pell Street – $10,400.00
McGuire Street – $55,600.00
King Street – $20,500.00
Chestnut Street -$18,000.00
John Stelle -$13,525.00
Ruthann Jeffries made a motion to award the bids for Street Paving to Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. for a total of $131,550. Mayor Wyndham seconded. The motion passed 2-0.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mayor Wyndham; seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. Meeting adjourned at10:10 a.m. The motion passed 2-0.
