MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR MARCH 4, 2020
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on March 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Brian Wyndham.
ROLL CALL: Ruthann Jeffries, Linda Messmer, Mayor Wyndham, City Attorney Traci Orman, Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett.
OTHERS PRESENT: Fire Chief Jake Bennett
NEW BUSINESS:
- Open Proposals for Firetruck – City advertised for and solicited proposals for a fire rescue pumper. The deadline to submit proposals was 10:00 a.m. March 4, 2020. The Board received one (1) proposal from MacQueen Emergency for a Pierce model truck. The proposal was opened and will be taken under advisement. The proposal will be forwarded to the committee for review and will make a will make a written recommendation to the Board.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Ruthann Jeffries; seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0. Meeting was adjourned at 10:14 a.m.
