THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR JULY 15, 2021
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on July 15, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wyndham.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Wyndham, Ruthann Jeffries, Linda Messmer, City Attorney Traci Orman, Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett
OTHERS PRESENT: Police Chief Clint McQueen, Assistant Chief Dennis Archer
Police Chief McQueen recommends that Probationary Officer Chris Jones not receive a permanent appointment with the Brazil Police Department. The reason for this recommendation is for unsatisfactory conduct. Ruthann Jeffries made a motion for Probationary Officer Chris Jones’ employment with the Brazil Police Department to cease immediately, in accordance with I.C. 36-8-4-12, seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Linda Messmer seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. The motion passed 3-0. Meeting was adjourned at 3:32 p.m.
