MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR JUNE 29, 2016
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on June 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wyndham.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Wyndham, Ruthann Jeffries, Linda Messmer, City Attorney Traci Orman, Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett
OTHERS PRESENT: Planning and Zoning Administrator Teresa Glenn, Fire Chief Jake Bennett, Brazil Times Representative Frank Phillips
PLEDGE: The pledge to the Flag was lead by Mayor Wyndham.
City Attorney Traci Orman –
The City had previously received 2 bids for the demolition of 9 BEP homes.
1.) Demolition Environmental Systems – $139,918.75
2.) West Point Properties, LLC – $69,000
At this time we will reject both bids.
Ruthann Jeffries made a motion to reject both bids received at the June 15, 2016 meeting for demolition of 9 BEP homes; seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Linda Messmer; seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. Meeting adjourned at 10:06 a.m. The motion passed 3-0.
