The Clerk Treasurer’s office is open Monday through Friday from 8-4 pm. They are responsible for all the City of Brazil’s finances, to include: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, Forest Park and Craig Park shelter rentals, payments on ordinance violations, and maintaining the city budgets.
The current Clerk Treasurer is Karen McQueen, and she has worked in the Clerk’s office since 2006. The Deputy Clerk Treasurer is Melissa Dorsett, and she has worked in the Clerk’s office since 2013.
