MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR OCTOBER 24, 2018
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on October 24, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wyndham.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Wyndham, Ruthann Jeffries, Linda Messmer, City Attorney Traci Orman, Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett.
OTHERS PRESENT: Planning and Zoning Assistant Cathy Hunter, Brazil Times Editor Frank Phillips, India Orman
PLEDGE: The pledge to the Flag was led by Mayor Wyndham.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Linda Messmer made a motion to approve minutes from October 10, 2018; seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. The motion passed 3-0.

NEW BUSINESS:
- Invoice Approval – Strand Associates-WWTP Emergency Generator – Ruthann Jeffries made a motion to approve invoice no. 0142516 from Strand Associates for Great Dane Lift Station Pump Evaluation for $209.84; seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0.
- Invoice Approval – Strand Associates – Stormwater Planning Study – Ruthann Jeffries made a motion to approve invoice no. 0142476 from Strand Associates for the Stormwater Planning Study for $2100.00; seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0.
- Clean Ups – (see list) – Ruthann Jeffries made a motion to approve the clean up list for October 24, 2018; seconded by Linda Messmer. The motion passed 3-0.
- Mowing – (see list) – Linda Messmer made a motion to approve the mowing list for October 24,2018; seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. The motion passed 3-0.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS: NONE
FUTURE AGENDA: Linda Messmer asked about an update on the property next to Ceres Solutions that is owned by the State. Mayor Wyndham said that there is no update yet.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Linda Messmer; seconded by Ruthann Jeffries. The motion passed 3-0. Meeting was adjourned at 10:11 a.m.
