MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR SEPTEMBER 2, 2015
A meeting with the Board of Works was held on September 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Wyndham.
ROLL CALL: Mayor Wyndham, Linda Messmer, Ruthann Jeffries, City Attorney Traci Orman, and Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett, Cemetery Superintendent Brian Bemis
The purpose of this meeting is to open bids for the City Streets we have requested to be paved. Two bids were received and opened.

Pell Street – $18,508.00
McGuire Street – $66,902.00
King Street – $44,190.00
Leavitt Street-$26,835.00
Chestnut Street-$35,311.00
Mobilization and Demobilization Fee -$4,045.00
TOTAL -$215,398.00

The Board of Works will take these bids under advisement and the City Council will discuss appropriation of funds.
ADJOURNMENT: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Ruthann Jeffries; seconded by Linda Messmer. Meeting adjourned at10:15 a.m. The motion passed 3-0.
