MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY
BRAZIL, INDIANA
FOR MARCH 21, 2017
A meeting with the Board of Public Works was held on March 21, 2017 at 10:02 a.m. in the Council Chambers of the Brazil City Hall. The meeting was called to order by Ruthann Jeffries.
ROLL CALL: Ruthann Jeffries, Linda Messmer, Deputy Clerk Melissa Dorsett, City Attorney Traci Orman. Mayor Wyndham was absent.
OTHERS PRESENT: Wastewater Superintendent Billy Goodrich, Larry Wallace of Wallace Environmental Services LLC, Mike Knust of Knust Excavating Inc.
PLEDGE: The pledge to the Flag was lead by Ruthann Jeffries.

NEW BUSINESS:
1.) Opening Bids – Phase III Demolition Proposals – The following bids were received and opened for the demolition of 6 units (5 in Phase III, and 1 from Phase II) of the FEMA Flood Buyout:
Knust Excavating Inc. – $55,250.00
Wallace Environmental Services LLC – $43,000.00
The bids will be taken under advisement and awarded at the Board of Works Meeting on March 22, 2017.
